The challenge for this project was not different as many others. An updated looks for the kitchen while keeping the room footprint and the floor; increases the storage space; keeps the job whiting an affordable budget and minimum interruption on the family routine; are frequently requests homeowners have for their Designers. The small kitchen had no room to play. The answer to that equation, it was to design a cabinetry that maximize the space with minimal but well selected inserts. The upper cabinets received small moldings under and above to add details to the layout. The old kitchen had an imbalanced area by the sink always uncomfortable to the homeowner eyes. The new cabinets connected to a bridge over the pass-thru, beautifully resolved the situation turning it into an attractive focus point.
