The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show started Tuesday in Chicago. Owned by the NKBA - National Kitchen and Bath Association, this year's show is taking place at McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the US. With nearly 500 exhibitors including large industry names such as Kohler, SubZero, Wolf, Wilsonart, Moen, and many others. The opening, presented by the HGTV designer Candice Olson, was a great start ! Candice showed many of her before and after projects, from small budgets to more comfortable ones, showing that Design can be Everywhere, we just need imagination and knowledge about codes, materials, and techniques.
The show, that ends today, Thursday April 26, is exclusive for the trade. It offers seminars, classes and special events. The new showcase area called Uncontained, is a fun demonstration of how to design for different generations and family cases. Different ambiences are created inside open containers giving the designers ideas and statistics for five common customer situations in today's market.
